Dartmouth, Sea Kayak Skills Progression

Last weekend four of our members joined Wight Expeditions at Dartmouth to progress our sea kayaking skills. Journeying, leadership, group management, surfing and incident management skills were covered over three days of spectacular sea kayaking. River Thames Boat Trip on the Golden Salamander

Friday 25 April 2025 saw the first Chiswick Pier Canoe Club Thames Boat Trip, leaving from the Pier to Tower Bridge, return. We were joined by members of Putney Canoe Club, Kayakers from the swim safety organisation, coaches we have a close relationship with from previous training sessions and importantly family and friends. Boat Race Weekend 2025

Chiswick Pier Canoe Club and Chiswick Pier Trust had a remarkably busy boat race weekend. On Saturday three of our paddlers took advantage of the great weather and the river opening, between Fridays practice day and the actual race day on Sunday. Thames Boat Trip, MV Golden Salamander

Chiswick Pier Canoe Club has teamed up with classic Thames riverboat “Golden Salamander” to run a river trip for the club, families and friends. Departing from Chiswick Pier, the Golden Salamander will take us on a return voyage along the River Thames, providing a rare view of the riversides between Chiswick Pier and The Tower of London. Winter Sea Kayak Skills
